In 2002, industrial designer Peter Ng and his two sons, Kenneth and Edmund Ng, formed Koncept to combine their years of manufacturing and industrial design skills. Since then, the Koncept team has created a number of products for the retail and contract sectors. Their pendants, desk lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces, and other products have had a considerable impact on the LED lighting industry.

TIME Magazine, Oprah Magazine, and Interior Design Magazine have all published articles about their work. Koncept Splitty Lamp

Available as a floor lamp or desk lamp, Splitty gets its name from its unique joint design and is one of the most flexible lights in the Koncept collection. When illuminated, the wide LED head casts an even glow thanks to the fully diffused light panel. Koncept designers perfected the diffused light source with hidden LEDs so that the lamp performs as a radiant ambient light as well as a functional task light. Multiple mounting options for Splitty Desk Lamp can open up work space, and a discreet USB port allows users to charge most phones or tablets. Koncept Z-Bar Lights

The sleek Z-Bar Wall Sconce can be utilized to highlight artwork, mirror or a framed photo. Mounted solo, it can be appreciated as its own work of modern art. It can be hung horizontally, vertically, even diagonally on a wall or ceiling. The sconce comes in three sizes, the smallest of which can be mounted at the end of the light bar as well as from the middle. For example the Gravy Wall Sconce is a playful, customizable and highly functional piece. The sconce’s head swivels back and forth and rotates 360°. As a result, it can be enjoyed as an ambient light or task light. Touch the center of the LED head to power on/off and hold it to dim. Choose between plug-in or hardwire versions to suit your mounting capabilities. The magnetically attached surface plates are interchangeable, enabling users to select painted finishes, wood veneers, metal or fabric to match their interior space.

The rise is a three-dimensional addition to the Z-Bar Pendant line. Available in five different geometric configurations, these contemporary and minimalist pendants consist of modular light bars on the top and bottom tiers that independently rotate 360.° Direct the top light bars up to the ceiling and the bottom bars down to enjoy both ambient and task light. Optional acoustic panels are available as an attractive solution to sound absorption.
