The organizers of the LightFair 2022 show, the Illuminating Engineering Society, and the International Association of Lighting Designers announced the recipients of 14 LightFair Innovation Awards, as well as some products that received additional recognition for 2022's Most Innovative Product, Technical Innovation, and Design Excellence, as well as a Judges' Citation.
The jury looked at the proposals' adaptability, sustainability, usability, effectiveness of the design, versatility, clarity of purpose, and features that improve safety or wellness.

MIFOR-70 is a system that allows you to easily build unique lighting fixtures of almost any shape, including open, closed and openwork. The lighting fixtures can take the form of circles, "soft" arcs transforming into the shape of a luminous line or plane. The system has a diffuser with good lighting parameters, high mechanical strength, fire and UV resistance.

For architects, the main attraction of the MIFOR system is undoubtedly not being limited to specific, standard lighting fixtures available on the market. The possibilities offered by the MIFOR-70 system encourage unconventional creation, and even provoke to design architecture in parallel with lighting, already at the concept stage. Such an "open" approach will certainly enrich the design with new means of expression.
